Minnesota Food Shows: Reasons to Attend One This Spring Season

Spring is Food Show month!  

Spring is here and for anyone involved in the hospitality industry that probably means there’s a food show in the near future.

Giovanni’s Frozen Pizza works with select distributor partners and many of these have shows in the spring.  We hope you can attend one of these. 

Food shows are a great way to see what’s new, re-visit the old, and have one on one discussions with the companies that supply or in our case manufacture the products you use.

Todays labor market is a tough one, and businesses need to focus more than ever on the most profitable parts of day to day operations.    Having a premium , fully prepared, delicious pizza offering allows operators to reduce kitchen hours( labor!)   to only the most profitable day parts.  Remember…. An employee earning $15.00/hr. is 25 cents/minute.  It doesn’t sound like much but if it takes 10 minutes to gather all the components, assemble a pizza, (of course keeping the portion control exactly at the amounts you specified), wash the utensils, etc.,  your cost savings by making your own can evaporate rather quickly…… those 10 minutes = $2.50.
